Vic Juba Community Theatre is a 550-seat performing arts venue located in the border city of Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan. At our venue you can see concerts, dance productions, the symphony, theatrical productions, festivals, comedians and illusionists. Each year we work over 175 event days.

Special Events
In June 2024, Vic Juba Community Theatre played host venue to the 35th annual Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. The three-days of events were supported by Discover Lloydminster, Maz Entertainment, Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Canada Arts Presentation Fund.
Non-Profit Status
The operation of Vic Juba Community Theatre is managed by a non-profit organization that is incorporated as a Society in the province of Alberta and a non-profit in the province of Saskatchewan. The Board of Directors consists of 7 to 12 individuals from the community. To assist in the operation and funding of the facility, Vic Juba Community Theatre receives an annual subsidy from the City of Lloydminster which amounts to 19% of the annual budget. We have also entered into a successful long-term agreement for rental of our facility with Lloydminster Public School Division and Lloydminster Catholic School Division. The staff at our facility consists of 3 permanent full-time, one 3/4 time employee, 18 casual employees. Our approximately 60 volunteers assist at our events by selling artist merchandise, working as ushers, and occasionally working at our bar & concession. Volunteers can also assist us with the distribution of our season brochure and event posters.

Mr. Vic Juba has been a very dedicated individual with many non-profit organizations in our community for many years. Mr. Juba was a prominent figure in the Lloydminster, AB/SK community, celebrated for his unwavering commitment to fostering arts and culture in the region. Known for his visionary leadership and dedication, Vic played a pivotal role in establishing the Vic Juba Community Theatre, which serves as a cornerstone for performing arts in Lloydminster among many other community facility projects.
His passion for the arts was matched by his desire to create a space where community members could connect, express themselves, and experience world-class entertainment. Vic's legacy has given us the vibrant cultural landscape, inspiring generations to appreciate and support the arts.
